The Center for Public Leadership (CPL) at Harvard Kennedy School seeks to recruit its third cohort of Louis Bacon Environmental Leadership Fellows for the 2018-2019 academic year. The Bacon Fellowship brings together emerging leaders from the government, business, and the NGO communities eager to take up the mantle of environmental leadership by bringing new ideas and innovation to the policies and  programs that preserve and enhance our shared environment.

The Louis Bacon Environmental Fellows come to Harvard and connect with highly accomplished national and international leaders, who provide them with both knowledge and skills to: foster sustainable environmental impacts; build cross sector partnerships; and inspire them to think about innovative policies and programs that safeguard natural resources and promote a healthy global ecosystem.

The Louis Bacon Environmental Leadership Fellowship provides a full tuition scholarship, health insurance, a living stipend, and a comprehensive co-curricular program for up to five admitted degree candidates for the full course of study at HKS (one or two years). Students from joint or concurrent degree programs offered by the school are encouraged to apply.

To apply for the 2017-2018 academic year, prospective degree candidates must complete the following two steps:

First, apply to the Harvard Kennedy School by December 4, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Second, apply for the Louis Bacon Environmental Fellowship by January 24, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
