The Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future announces the request for proposals for their third round of Postdoctoral Fellowships in Sustainability. This program is intended to stimulate original cross-disciplinary research and development of sustainable solutions that address the world’s most pressing problems in six focus areas: sustainable agriculture and food systems, energy transitions, one health, sustainable communities, new materials, and computational sustainability. The first Conference of the Regional Africa chapter of the ESP (Ecosystem Services Partnership) will be held in Nairobi, Kenya on November 21-25 2016. The conference theme will be Ecosystem Services for SDGs in Africa. Discussions will focus on Africa’s contribution towards data and evidence on best practices for management and restoration of ecosystem services for decision making, particularly towards the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
