The Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA-UAB) is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to lead a participatory modelling study that analyses the vulnerability of Spanish rural communities to the compounded effects of climate change, depopulation and agricultural trade, and explores the feasibility and effectiveness of vulnerability mitigation policies.

UCT, through the African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI) and the Future Water Institute (FWI), is recruiting a postdoctoral research fellow (PDRF), who will be one several researchers in UCT’s SDG PDRF cohort.  The PDRF will undertake research that will conceptualise and scope out the potential for a Cape Town Resilience Observatory.

Attention all recent PhD graduates. Applications are now open for a full-time post-doctoral position in the Department of Environmental Science at Rhodes University. Candidates who received their PhD five years ago or less are encouraged to apply. The position will start in March 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
