The African Doctoral Academy runs bi-annual training courses which are aimed at both expanding and adding depth to the knowledge pool and skillset of doctoral and post-doctoral academics across the African continent and beyond. Volkswagen Foundation's has announced Calls for postdoctoral fellowships under the Initiative “Knowledge for Tomorrow – Cooperative Research Projects in Sub-Saharan Africa”.
